The company’s target was to reduce costs and improve lead times. We were then invited to visit the warehouse to see first hand how the polythene packaging would be used.
NPF provided polythene samples to demonstrate how a uniquely blended polymer could help them achieve their goal of reducing costs. The new blend could be reduced in thickness by 40% without compromising the strength and performance required.
Due to seasonal demands and expanding global markets setting up scheduled deliveries wasn’t an option. With warehouse space also being a valued commodity our customer was unable to hold large amounts of stock onsite. NPF proposed that they’d hold an advanced order in stock to be called off when required. This would be delivered on a next day service ensuring the customer a constant supply of bespoke polythene.
