A fish bait company requiring a water tight heat resistant bag.
A member of our sales team is also a keen angler. After contacting the company directly to offer NPF’s bespoke packaging services it was agreed that we should visit the processing unit to see exactly what was required from their polythene bags.
The packaging process was very demanding on the bags with hot particles being bagged up at close to 100 degrees.
The customer had tried a number of suppliers and found a stock bag which could withstand the high temperatures. We took away a sample and trialled different polymer blends to get a match. Whilst trialling polymers NPF also designed a print for the bag which would contain the company’s logo and colour scheme. A small batch of bags were ran as a trial and after their success forward orders were placed allowing stock to be held by NPF for the customer to call off.
